Reactions to the Program
Feedback from Institutions
Follow the google drive link for access to a complete list of documented feedback data from various schools and institutions.
This feedback supports the research data that explores reactions and personal impact that the hands-on experiential process creates. On analysis it can be seen that there are common themes that run through each of the sessions and across all of the age groups. These are analysed further in the literature review and the collection of data across the years.

Workshop Content
Each of these workshops are based on experiential hands-on exploration of both physical and hidden disability. All age groups and occupations are catered for and the program has visited over 2000 schools and organisations and 250 000 people across Australia. Focus areas range from early years, 2+ Years, right through until the later years. A wide range of disciplines such as; groups of doctors, designers, teacher aides, and educators across all discipline areas and age groups.
Key disability areas, both physical and hidden are explored by all workshop participants and personal story and lived experience and expertise from the presenter and the whole group are discussed and inclusion across our society is explored.
The gathered data from every session is explored and the impact both short and long term has been documented and the results of understanding and real change towards people with disability and overall attitudes towards inclusion and policy is evident in all feedback collected.
Email Feedback
I have received many emails after people have participated in the Discovering DisAbility and Diversity hands on workshop. These reflect the impact and the educational understanding that is gained after taking part in the activities and immersing themselves in the discussions. Shared knowledge and understanding of disability is carried then through the rest of their lives.
This email is one of the most impacting that I have received, however, this is the sentiment of the majority of those received. I love receiving feedback and I also value the shared knowledge and passion that is reflected by the participants and the effort that they take to share.
