Vibrant Valley is a celebration of colour, line, design and the floral pathway leads the eye across the painting. It is almost cartoon-like at times, however, the smooth valley floor with the vibrant green grass and surface texture envelopes and softens the visual image. Line and paint application is both subtle and defined in this painting. It juxtaposes raw pastel with metallic line and very thickly applied acrylic mediums.
